His quick movements, the abrupt motion of his head and his involvement with repetitiveness in multiple situations unlock the door of people's enjoyment. Only to watch him move in space you can get the point. He doesn't need to present a magical show to reach this outcome. His simplicity creates a complexity which results in a lot of laughter. He does things that common people can do in their everyday lives to have fun and exactly that subsists a credit to his success. I have detected greatness in him, because he amuses the crowd by performing in simple icons. Initially, people are reserved, but they end up loving all Tape Face sketches. His shows have sexual innuendo, but it is not annoying, because he generates honest innocence which dislodges misunderstanding. He disowns reality for the isolation & focus on a peculiar mystique through illusions and allegories. Tape Face has always that look, of not being aware of where he is or what he does, lost in another Universe, his wonderful Universe. He operates as if he is confused or fearful for some reason, like he doesn't know what to do and from panic he constructs uncommon images. This goggle-eyed character doesn't appear to have much contact with reality and perceive what is going on beyond his actions. Indeed, Tape Face twiddles vividly with his eyes and his facial expressions and with that fashion, he captivates the audience. He never talks, but has the attitude of a person who lacks a particular sense (talking in this case) and due to this, all his other senses are more developed than average. He follows a path to only be the silent character. He is totally conformed with Silent Cinema. Tape Face didn't utter a single word in the show nor altered his appearance in his performances and that is the case with his appearances outside America's Got Talent. He connects the silent cinema with the modern art and the man behind Tape Face promotes silent films' acting skillfully. He perpetually wears black & white clothes and makeup. His concept is impersonating a character who has "eluded" a silent film. According to Wikipedia: "A September 2013 report by the United States Library of Congress announced that a total of 70% of American silent feature films are believed to be completely lost."Silent Cinema is part of humanity's culture and history and must not be left become extinct. Tape Face can contribute in the revival of silent cinema. Tape Face pursues a familiarity with the silent cinema communication code that impels modern people be in the position to watch a silent film by expelling the tendency of disinterest in it. ![]() ![]() At first glance, he is a weird mime with a tape on his face -his mouth particularly- that spreads humor, but in my opinion he is much more than that. One of them was a contestant in America's Got Talent 2016, called Tape Face.
